Automated User Management

Accelerator FI Tools
Automate changing your users' Q2 group membership and sending user notifications. Use our back office tool on Q2 Central/Console to configure criteria, and it will find users that meet the specified criteria and move them to a target group, send them an email, or send them a push notification.

Features & Benefits

Automate moving users from group to group

Automatically manage users group membership by specifying:

  • Source group ID - the tool will test each user that is a part of this group against the specified criteria
  • Criteria - which criteria do you want the user to meet?
  • Target group ID - each user from the source group ID that meets the criteria will be moved to the target group

Common automated group moving scenarios:

  • Move new users from a restricted new user group to an unrestricted group when they have been a customer for 30 days and deposited $1000
  • Move users to a restricted group and disable their online banking login if their fraud score exceeds a threshold or if they do something suspicious
  • Reduce potential security risks and costs by automatically moving inactive users to a to-purge group and disabling their online banking login
  • Move users who do not have any open deposit accounts to a to-purge group
  • Move minors who turn 18 out of the minor group

Automate sending email notifications

Specify an email template, and the tool will automatically send an email to users who meet the criteria.

For example, send an email to users who have a CD maturing in 30 days.

Automate sending push notifications

Specify a push notification template, and the tool will automatically send a push notification to users who meet the criteria.

For example, send a push notification to users when they receive a deposit greater than $1000.

Create your own automated scenarios

Create new automated scenarios by configuring your own list of criteria and choosing your own actions to take when the tool finds a user that meets the criteria.

Generate a report

When the tool performs an action (moves a user to a different group, sends an email / push notification), all the details about that action is logged in a report, so you can keep a history of what actions were performed for which users.
